Have you ever performed the good-old Valsalva maneuver in your patients? Yes, well then STOP! Because there’s something that’s much more powerful and just as simple. It’s called the modified Valsalva and has recently been described by Andrew Appleboam et al in The Lancet.

I can hardly think of another intervention that's so effective with so little side-effects.
