Why I love to teach
I recently retired as the Chief of Neurosurgery at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Throughout my career, I performed thousands of major neurosurgical procedures and treated patients in the USA Army, at the Geisinger Medical Center, and at the Carilion Clinic. I also wrote several books on burnout and resilience in medicine. Today, I continue teaching and I write novels.
